QPR line up four January additions

Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock has targeted four potential new signings for the West London side.

The 63-year-old met with club owner Tony Fernandes, directors Kamarudin Bin Meranun and Ruben Emir Gnanalingam and vice-chariman Amit Bhatia yesterday.

"They are nice people. All of them are enthusiastic and want what is best for us, which is a great recipe," the Daily Mail quotes Warnock as saying. "We will be looking to take on loan two or three players, a couple from England and one from abroad.

"We want players like [Tottenham defender] Kyle Walker, who we took last season and we turned into an England international. We want to pick the brains of the top clubs.

"We do need improvement - we need three to four players into the squad to give us solidity. We are shipping goals a bit too easily. We rushed what we could before the summer transfer deadline day but when we had injuries at centre-half, it was difficult to get people in that position."

The former Championship side have been linked with moves for Fulham striker Bobby Zamora as well as Rangers frontman Nikica Jelavic.
