Queens Park Rangers keen on Clint Dempsey

Queens Park Rangers are interested in signing Clint Dempsey from Fulham, according to Sky Sports News.

The USA international has been in good goalscoring form this season, culminating in a hat-trick during Fulham's 5-2 win over Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.

QPR manager Mark Hughes, who is looking to boost his attacking options this month, is familiar with Dempsey's capabilities, having managed the 28-year-old during his stint at Craven Cottage last season.

Dempsey has 18 months remaining on his current contract and discussions are yet to start regarding fresh terms.
