Queens Park Rangers have reportedly opened up discussions to sign Gremio defender Bressan.
The 21-year-old has recently fallen down the pecking order at the Brazilian club, who are managed by former national team head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.
News of his potential availability has alerted R's manager Harry Redknapp, according to the Fulham Chronicle.
The report adds that Redknapp is keen to bolster his defensive options, despite the fact that he has already added Rio Ferdinand and Steven Caulker to his squad this summer.
It is believed that Bressan holds an Italian passport, which would mean that he would have no issues in obtaining a work permit to play in the Premier League.
