Djibril Cisse leaves Queens Park Rangers by mutual consent

QPR confirm Cisse exit

Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that striker Djibril Cisse has left the club by mutual consent.

The former Liverpool forward signed for the R's from Lazio in January last year before moving to Qatari outfit Al-Gharafa on a loan stint for the second half of the 2012-13 campaign.

A statement on QPR's official website said: "The club would like to thank Djibril for his contribution and wish him all the best for the future."

The 31-year-old scored 10 goals in 29 appearances for the recently-relegated Championship club.
