Kranjcar desperate for permanent QPR move

Niko Kranjcar has admitted that he is desperate to make his loan move to Queens Park Rangers permanent.

The 30-year-old joined Harry Redknapp's side on a season-long loan deal from Dynamo Kiev for the second year in a row after playing a pivotal role in the club's promotion last year.

He has struggled to carve out a regular place in QPR's starting lineup this season, but is determined to prove that he belongs at Loftus Road.

He is quoted as saying by The Mirror: "I see QPR as my home and I want to stay here and establish myself. My target is to earn a permanent move to QPR.

"This is the place I want to be so I have to prove myself. It's all about playing games to show the manager what I can still do at this level."

Kranjcar has played six matches for Redknapp's team this season, scoring one goal.
