QPR owner Tony Fernandes reveals interest in signing David Beckham

New Queens Park Rangers owner Tony Fernandes has confirmed that the club are interested in bringing David Beckham back to the Premier League.

Yesterday vice-chairman Amit Bhatia insisted that the 36-year-old was not on the club's radar, but Fernandes has now revealed an opinion to the contrary.

"I think having someone like David [Beckham] in the club would be great. Was always in my thoughts. Let's see," the Malaysian businessman posted on Twitter.

Beckham, who spent ten years with Manchester United, has two months remaining on his current contract with LA Galaxy.
