Norwich City to cash in on £8m Leroy Fer move to Queens Park Rangers?

Fer on verge of £8m QPR move?

Norwich City midfielder Leroy Fer will complete an £8m move to Queens Park Rangers in the coming days, according to reports.

An initial bid of £4m was rejected, while a second offer which included Karl Henry moving in the opposite direction was also turned down by the Canaries.

However, the Daily Mail reports that Harry Redknapp has convinced Norwich to part with the Netherlands international for a fee of £8m.

QPR's initial target was allegedly Lokomotiv Moscow's Lassana Diarra, but the French midfielder's wage demands proved to be too high.

Fer featured as a 73rd-minute substitute in Norwich's 3-0 home victory over Watford yesterday.
