Ex-Tottenham Hotspur player Souleymane Coulibaly 'to join Football League club'

Coulibaly 'to switch to Football League club'

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Souleymane Coulibaly is reportedly planning to return to the UK this summer to join a club in the Football League.

The 20-year-old came through the youth ranks at White Hart Lane before eventually sealing a permanent move to Bari.

After spending a loan spell at Pistoiese this season, the youngster is believed to be keen on earning some game time in the lower tiers of English football.

According to Goal.com, Championship sides Queens Park Rangers, Charlton Athletic, Fulham and Bolton Wanderers have expressed an interest in Coulibaly, while Port Vale and Barnsley are also said to be keen on the forward.

After Coulibaly finished the Under-17 World Cup as top goalscorer in 2011, the youngster was reportedly wanted by Manchester United and Real Madrid, but Tottenham sealed his signature.
