Radek Cerny completes one-year Queens Park Rangers contract

Cerny signs one-year QPR deal

Queens Park Rangers veteran goalkeeper Radek Cerny has put pen to paper on a fresh one-year contract at the West London club.

The 38-year-old, who was expected to sign a new deal with the Premier League side, has expressed his delight in staying at QPR for one more season.

"At my age, if I'm offered a one-year deal, that's perfect for me," Cerny told the club's official website. "It's fantastic to still be involved with the Premier League.

"My experience is probably why I'm still here. Hopefully that rubs off on the younger players. Next season will definitely be different to last season, as I know the quality and consistency of our play could be so much higher."

Cerny, who made six appearances for QPR this season, has been at the former Championship club since 2008.
