Queens Park Rangers midfielder Shaun Wright-Phillips believes that the club are moving in the right direction under manager Harry Redknapp.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Shaun Wright-Phillips has insisted that it is important that his side maintain their recent unbeaten run.

Rangers have picked up six points from four games under new manager Harry Redknapp and after QPR recorded a 2-1 victory over Fulham at the weekend, Wright Phillips is hoping that they can repeat the level of their performance this weekend.

Wright-Phillips told the club's official website: "Let's not get it wrong, Fulham are a great team. They showed us that last season so to come up against them and control the game in the way we did just shows we are a team that's moving in the right direction.

"I thought we defended really well. When we had to put our foot in, we did that.

"We've got to try to keep that unbeaten run going and keep picking up points, no matter who we are up against. We need to be as strong and as resilient this weekend as we were on Saturday."

The 31-year-old has scored one goal in 11 appearances for Queens Park Rangers this season.
