Queens Park Rangers interim coach Neil Warnock to miss Middlesbrough trip

Queens Park Rangers interim head coach Neil Warnock is unable to attend Friday's Championship match at Middlesbrough because of personal reasons.

Queens Park Rangers interim head coach Neil Warnock will not be in the dugout during tonight's Championship match against Middlesbrough due to personal reasons.

The West London club confirmed on their website that Warnock would not make the trip and would be replaced in charge by his assistant Kevin Blackwell.

Warnock, 66, has said that he is not interested in becoming head coach on a full-time basis and QPR are expected to announce Chris Ramsey's permanent successor soon.

Current Burton Albion boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is the favourite to take over, but the League One high-flyers have insisted that no approach has been made by QPR.
