Adel Taarabt unhappy with lack of games

Taarabt unhappy with bit-part role

Adel Taarabt has said that he is frustrated with his bit-part role at Queens Park Rangers.

The Moroccan international was instrumental in helping Neil Warnock's side gain promotion to the Premier League from the Championship last season.

However, he has since lost his place in the side as QPR fight to stay in the top flight. It is believed that Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli are both potential suitors for the playmaker.

"I want to play week in, week out," said Taarabt.

"I am not happy to sit on the bench - my job is to play football.

"I understand I cannot play every game but we play only once in a week so I need to be doing that and starting the game."

Warnock has suggested that he would not stand in the player's way should a suitable offer come in.
