Rigg leaves QPR

Mike Rigg is to leave his post as the technical director of Queens Park Rangers.

The 60-year-old joined the Premier League club from Manchester City last season to reunite with then-QPR manager Mark Hughes.

"Queens Park Rangers Football Club can confirm that it has been agreed that Mike Rigg will leave his position at Loftus Road," reads a statement on the London outfit's official website.

QPR are currently second from bottom in the Premier League table.
