Anton Ferdinand considering statement release

Anton Ferdinand is considering releasing a statement that will provide his account of the clash with John Terry that led to an Football Association racism investigation into the Chelsea and England captain, according to reports.

Last week the FA announced that will be investigating alleged comments made by Terry during the derby match between Queens Park Rangers and Chelsea.

Terry instantly released a statement that denied those allegations, insisting that he had sorted the matter with Ferdinand.

QPR defender Ferdinand has so far remained silent on the matter.
