QPR's Samba Diakite 'withdraws from Mali squad with injury'

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Samba Diakite has reportedly been forced to pull out of the Mali international squad with injury.

The midfielder has not featured for the struggling Premier League outfit since the end of December due to the arrival of loan signing Jermaine Jenas.

While the extent of Diakite's injury has not been confirmed, it is believed that the 24-year-old will return to West London, according to the Fulham Chronicle.

Diakite moved to Loftus Road from Nancy last January.
