Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin is "confident" that his recent form in front of goal will continue for the rest of the season.
The 24-year-old managed just one goal in his first seven matches after arriving from Burnley in the summer, but he has now scored five in his last five league games.
"I've always got belief and confidence in my ability. And if you're playing with players like I am, you're always going to score. You hope the goals will come. The one against Birmingham did because I was in the right place at the right time," he told the club's official website.
"If you're in those positions, you're likely to score - especially with the creativity we've got in the squad. It's unbelievable. It's a joy to play with the players that I am playing with at the moment.
"The players behind me are always going to create chances every game. The chances are coming and I was happy to score twice [against Barnsley]. I'm confident at the moment and long may that continue."
Austin scored 28 goals for Burnley last season.
