Agent: 'Kevin Strootman can leave in May'

The agent of PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman has hinted that his client will leave the Dutch club at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old was strongly linked with Manchester United in the summer, but he remained at PSV despite the interest.

However, Chiel Dekker has revealed that the £15m-rated defensive midfielder could be available next summer.

"My client could leave in January? Absolutely not. There's nothing in that. We are only in October - the only thing I can say is to call me back in May," he told Calciomercato.

AC Milan are also thought to be interested in the Dutchman.
