Roma 'close to agreeing Lucas Digne loan'

Paris Saint-Germain full-back Lucas Digne has reportedly bid farewell to his teammates ahead of a proposed loan move to AS Roma.

The defender was rumoured to be a summer target for Liverpool, although Digne's agent had suggested that he has not been in talks with the Reds.

However, Get French Football News claims that 22-year-old said farewell to his PSG teammates on Friday, after their victory over Lille.

Roma reportedly tried to insert a mandatory buyout clause at the end of the season-long loan deal, but Les Rouges et Blancs wanted more money for the French star.

PSG value Digne at around €25m (£17.7m), according to L'Equipe.
