Javier Pastore 'tells Paris Saint-Germain teammates he is leaving'

Javier Pastore reportedly informs his Paris Saint-Germain teammates that he will leave the French club next month, with Inter Milan his expected destination.

Javier Pastore has reportedly informed his Paris Saint-Germain teammates that he will leave the French club next month.

The 28-year-old is currently in his seventh season with PSG, and has scored six times in 21 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 giants during the 2017-18 campaign.

Pastore has only started eight times in the league this term, however, and it was reported last month that PSG were prepared to sell the Argentine for £18m in the January transfer window.

According to Le Parisien, Pastore wants to leave PSG to boost his chances of making the Argentina squad for the 2018 World Cup, and Inter Milan are currently at the head of the queue.

Pastore, who has previously been linked with Liverpool and Chelsea, spent two years with Palermo before making the move to the French capital in 2011.
