Thiago Motta signs Paris Saint-Germain contract extension

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Thiago Motta has signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2016.

The industrious midfielder joined the Parisians from Inter Milan in 2012 and has since played 65 matches for club, scoring eight goals over two seasons.

"I am very happy to continue my dream with Paris Saint-Germain," said Motta, according to Ligue1.com.

"I want to continue to help the club achieve its ambitious objectives both in France and in Europe."

PSG currently top the Ligue 1 table on 58 points.
