Lyon have confirmed that they are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain defender Mamadou Sakho.
Bernard Lacombe, advisor to Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas, believes that the move is a real possibility.
"The plan is to sell two players before we start recruiting." Lacombe told L'Equipe.
"But it's true, we at least need one central defender and maybe a defensive midfielder. That is why we are interested in Mamadou Sakho."
Sakho impressed for PSG last season but could struggle to secure first-team football in the French capital following the arrival of Thiago Silva from AC Milan.
