Paris Saint-Germain may reportedly allow Edinson Cavani and Thiago Silva to leave Parc des Princes on a free transfer next summer.

Paris Saint-Germain may reportedly allow Edinson Cavani and Thiago Silva to leave the club on free transfers.

While the pair have been a key part of the team's recent success on the domestic scene, they each have less than a year remaining on their contracts at Parc des Princes.

According to ESPN, PSG are yet to hold contract discussions with either man, suggesting that they are contemplating parting ways with the duo at the end of the season.

Cavani has scored four goals in all competitions during this campaign, although the Uruguay international is now not necessarily first choice when every squad member is fit.

Silva, who turned 35 last month, remains a regular under Thomas Tuchel, but it is claimed that PSG are ready to use the younger players in their squad going forward.
