Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Lyon.

Paris Saint-Germain will not have Lionel Messi fit and raring to go for their Ligue 1 trip to Lyon on Sunday night.

The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner has now returned a negative coronavirus test but is still in the process of individual recovery, while Sergio Rico, Angel Di Maria, Julian Draxler, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Layvin Kurzawa and Danilo Pereira are all isolating.

Abdou Diallo, Achraf Hakimi and Idrissa Gueye are all on international duty for the Africa Cup of Nations, while Neymar is unlikely to return to training before the end of the month.

Keylor Navas is a sure-fire starter in goal with Donnarumma absent, while Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe should resume their partnership in defence, even with Sergio Ramos now back from a ban.

Colin Dagba should edge out Thilo Kehrer for the right-back spot, and Juan Bernat can feel hopeful of holding off competition from Nuno Mendes on the opposite side after also testing negative for COVID-19.

Leandro Paredes could operate from the base of the midfield with Gueye unavailable, as Marco Verratti and Georginio Wijnaldum start alongside the Argentina international.

Youngster Xavi Simons could start on the right as Messi and Di Maria miss out, with Mauro Icardi and Coupe de France hat-trick hero Kylian Mbappe completing the attack.

PSG possible starting lineup: Navas; Dagba, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Bernat; Wijnaldum, Paredes, Verratti; Simons, Icardi, Mbappe
