Thiago Silva wants Cristiano Ronaldo at Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva has revealed his desire to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 31-year-old wants the Real Madrid talisman to join him at Parc des Princes when the summer transfer window comes around.

"Of course, it's better to play with him than against him. I hope his agent will find a solution," Silva told L'Equipe, who reported this week that the Ligue 1 champions will make a bid for the Portugal forward next summer. "I hope they find a solution with our president so that he might come to play here. Paris Saint-Germain are the team of the moment."

Laurent Blanc's PSG side travel to the Santiago Bernabeu in midweek to take on Rafael Benitez's outfit, following the sides' 0-0 draw in Paris in the last round of fixtures.
