Thiago Silva targets Champions League success with Paris Saint-Germain

Thiago Silva believes that Paris Saint-Germain must target the Champions League title after winning Ligue 1 again.

Thiago Silva has claimed that Paris Saint-Germain must now target success in the Champions League after winning their second successive Ligue 1 title on Wednesday.

Despite losing to Rennes in the French capital, PSG were crowned champions once again, and Silva believes that the next step should be making more of an impact in Europe's elite club competition.

"It was not good at the end but, today I am very happy with this title," the Brazilian told reporters.

"But we must continue like this next season. With the support of our fans, we will also try to win the Champions League.

"The entire group is very happy and I hope that we will be able to keep it going."

PSG were knocked out by Chelsea at the quarter-final stage of the Champions League this season.
