David Luiz: 'Parc des Princes debut was fantastic'

Paris Saint-Germain defender David Luiz has told of his delight having won his first match at the Parc des Princes earlier this afternoon.

The former Chelsea defender was part of the PSG side that overcame Bastia 2-0 in their second match of the Ligue 1 season, thanks to goals from Lucas Moura and Edinson Cavani.

"I felt really good for my first match at the Parc," Luiz told the club's official website.

"The atmosphere was fantastic, it was great to see the Parc des Princes full of its supporters.

"We scored two goals without conceding so it's very positive. It's our first home win of the season and we need to keep working hard because it's going to be a long season."

PSG currently find themselves at the summit of the Ligue 1 table.
