Kevin Gameiro has "no regrets" over PSG move

Kevin Gameiro has revealed that he has "no regrets" over his decision to join Paris Saint-Germain last summer.

The striker joined PSG following a successful season in front of goal for Lorient.

However, he has found it difficult to replicate that form in the French capital, prompting some reports to link him with a move away from the club at the end of the season.

"When I take stock of my season, I think I have been average," Gameiro told L'Equipe. "I have not always been at my best and I have to improve in front of goal.

"The January search for a new forward? I did not let that affect me. Leonardo and the coach explained things to me.

"I have no regrets at having signed for PSG, even if there have been difficult moments. Situations like this can only help you to improve."

Gameiro, 24, has made eight appearances for the French national team.
