Laurent Blanc 'to be appointed Paris Saint-Germain manager'

Blanc 'to be named PSG boss'

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly close to appointing Laurent Blanc as the club's new manager.

The Ligue 1 outfit are expected to lose Carlo Ancelotti to Real Madrid, who are hunting for a new boss following Jose Mourinho's return to Chelsea.

It is understood that the Frenchman, who was previously linked with the managerial job at Roma, will pen a two-year contract, according to The Guardian.

Both Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas and ex-England boss Fabio Capello are said to have rejected offers.
