Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc admitted that Ezequiel Lavezzi has been very professional despite looking likely to leave the club next summer.
The Argentine international joined the club in 2012 but has fell down the pecking order in recent seasons and is believed to be looking to move on when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Blanc has revealed that while the situation has not been ideal, Lavezzi has got on with his job and the 30-year-old decided in the summer to stay for another season.
The Frenchman told reporters at a news conference: "I have nothing bad to say about Lavezzi. He does not cause any problems within the group.
"Lavezzi is a great player. His contractual situation is not a favourable one for the club, but that is not a distraction. We were willing to allow him to leave in the summer, but he opted to stay put.
