Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Reims.

Paris Saint-Germain are sweating over the fitness of Kylian Mbappe for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Reims at the Parc des Princes.

The 23-year-old has been struggling with a groin issue of late, and a late call over his involvement will be made on Saturday, but Lionel Messi should return to the final third in a boost for Mauricio Pochettino.

Abdou Diallo, Idrissa Gueye and Achraf Hakimi continue their Africa Cup of Nations duty, while Juan Bernat, Georginio Wijnaldum and Neymar are also set to remain absent for PSG.

Keylor Navas was not involved whatsoever against Brest after recovering from COVID-19 but should return to the matchday squad here, although Gianluigi Donnarumma will not be prepared to hand over the gloves.

Thilo Kehrer is deputising just fine for Hakimi at right-back with two goals in his last two Ligue 1 games, and the German should form part of an unchanged rearguard with Marquinhos, Presnel Kimpembe and Nuno Mendes.

Danilo Pereira and Leandro Paredes will compete for the final midfield spot in the absence of Wijnaldum, and the Portuguese may just edge out his colleague to feature alongside Ander Herrera and Marco Verratti.

If Mbappe is not passed fit for the contest, Messi should slot straight back into the team on the left-hand side to form an all-Argentinian front three with Mauro Icardi and Angel Di Maria.

PSG possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Kehrer, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Mendes; Herrera, Pereira, Verratti; Di Maria, Icardi, Messi
