Akpo Sodje rejects new Preston North End deal

Preston North End's Akpo Sodje will reportedly part company with the club after turning down the offer of a new contract.

The 32-year-old joined the League One outfit as a free agent over the summer, earning a short-term deal there after impressing during pre-season.

Lilywhites manager Graham Westley was keen to hold on to the forward but the player will now seek a move elsewhere, Sky Sports News reports.

Sodje had been working on a month-to-month contract at Deepdale.
