Live Commentary: Portugal 1-0 Netherlands - as it happened

Portugal won the inaugural UEFA Nations League title courtesy of a 1-0 win over the Netherlands in Sunday night's final at the Estadio do Dragao.

Goncalo Guedes scored the only goal of the match in the 60th minute, and it was a deserved victory for Fernando Santos's side, who offered the greater threat in Porto.

8.36pmSTATISTICS! Netherlands had 59% of the first-half possession but managed just one shot. Meanwhile, Portugal had 12 attempts in the opening 45 minutes, with four of those hitting the target. No yellow cards to report here - it has not really been that type of match.

Portugal have certainly been the more threatening in the final third, but Netherlands have arguably played the better football in the middle third of the pitch. It has not been the best 45 minutes of football to be honest, although it is very delicately poised ahead of the second period.
