Luke Rodgers to depart Portsmouth?

Portsmouth boss Michael Appleton has confirmed that there is interest in experienced striker Luke Rodgers.

The 30-year-old joined the League One outfit on a free transfer at the beginning of the season, but has struggled for form and fitness in recent weeks.

Appleton has revealed that there is interest in the striker, but refused to identify the clubs involved.

"There is interest. We're in dialogue with a couple of clubs," Appleton told The Sun.

It is understood that Brentford currently lead the race.
