Portsmouth release eight players

Portsmouth release eight players, including former England international Nicky Shorey.

The two-capped former England international arrived at Fratton Park back in January 2014.

The club have confirmed, though, that Adam Webster has been offered a 12-month extension to remain on the South Coast.
