Julen Lopetegui urges Porto focus against Bayern Munich

Porto coach Julen Lopetegui calls on his side to keep their focus against Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.

Porto coach Julen Lopetegui has urged his players to be completely focused during the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich.

The Portuguese side travel to the Allianz Arena tonight having earned a 3-1 victory over the German champions last week.

While Porto have put themselves in a strong position to progress, Lopetegui is eager for his team to concentrate on the task in hand and not think about reaching the semi-finals.

"We need to put into practice everything we have trained for. We have great ambition," the 48-year-old told the competition's official website. "It will be a very difficult test but we must try to find simple answers.

"We are playing against Bayern, one of the best teams in the world. We cannot focus on what might happen; we must instead try to determine what does happen, out on the pitch. We will try to create chances and play our own game."

Porto last reached the Champions League semi-finals in 2004 before going on to lift the trophy under Jose Mourinho.
