Port Vale trio sign contract extensions

Port Vale trio Chris Lines, Chris Birchall and Chris Neal have all signed contract extensions with the League One club.

Midfielder Lines, 28, has penned a new two-year deal at Vale Park, while 30-year-old midfielder Birchall has committed himself to the team for a further year.

Meanwhile, 28-year-old goalkeeper Neal has put pen to paper on a two-year extension.

Vale secured a ninth-placed finish in the League One table last season under Micky Adams, who recently signed a new 12-month rolling contract with the Valiants.
