Port Vale land Anthony Grant from Crewe Alexandra

Port Vale have completed the signing of Anthony Grant on a free transfer from Crewe Alexandra.

The midfielder signed a two-year deal at Vale Park after his contract with Crewe expired.

"Anthony will be a great addition to our squad and will really help strengthen the midfield area," Vale boss Rob Page told the club's website.

"He has performed very well for Crewe over the last couple of years and we're delighted to have him on board as we head into the new season."

Grant becomes Page's fifth summer signing following the arrival of Remie Streete, Sam Foley, Sam Kelly and Ben Purkiss.
