Wojciech Szczesny sent off for Poland

Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has been sent off in his side's Euro 2012 opener against Greece.

The Arsenal shotstopper was shown a straight red card for bringing down Dimitris Salpingidis in the area.

However, Giorgos Karagounis's resulting kick was saved by substitute Przemyslaw Tyton.

The two teams are currently drawing 1-1 after Salpingidis cancelled out Robert Lewandowski's first-half opener.
