Smuda: 'We must win our last two games'

Poland coach Franciszek Smuda has claimed that his side must win their final two group games following a 1-1 draw with Greece in Friday's Euro 2012 opener in Warsaw.

Despite Poland taking a first-half lead through Robert Lewandowski, the Greeks equalised in the second half thanks to Dimitris Salpingidis.

It could have been worse for the co-hosts when goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was sent off for a foul on Salpingidis in the penalty area, but substitute Przemyslaw Tyton saved Giorgos Karagounis's resulting spot kick.

"The opening game in such a big tournament often ends with a draw but all is not lost," Smuda told reporters. "We will play at least two more matches at Euro 2012 and we must win both of them."

The Poles next take on Russia on Tuesday in Warsaw.
