Report: Lee Tomlin hands in transfer request

Peterborough United forward Lee Tomlin has reportedly handed in a transfer request at the League One club.

The 24-year-old, who recently rejected a new contract, has told Darren Ferguson that he wishes to seek pastures new this summer, according to PA.

However, it is not yet clear whether Peterborough will be prepared to sanction a move having previously insisted that the striker is not for sale.

Celtic and Crystal Palace are both believed to be monitoring proceedings.
