"When I first heard of the interest, it was something I wanted to get done quickly," he told the club website.

"It has been a bit of a mad day as I was on the way to a coach stop off point with Swindon, but then the plans changed! I am really excited to be here. It is a wonderful club to continue my development with.

"Working with the manager was a massive appeal, but also the way the club plays, I saw that first hand earlier in the season in the Carabao Cup. There are a lot of good players here and I can't wait to get here and meet them and get on the training pitch and show what I can do."
