Peterborough United and Walsall have played out a 0-0 draw at London Road in League One tonight.

Following an insipid opening 45 minutes to the encounter, Posh could have edged ahead minutes into the second half, with Richard O'Donnell denying Michael Bostwick.

Darren Ferguson's men grew stronger as the minutes ticked on, as O'Donnell foiled the hosts once again, keeping out Danny Swanson before saving Britt Assombalonga's rebound.

It proved as close as the hosts came to breaking the deadlock as Walsall return to the West Midlands with a point.
