Peterborough United and Luton Town meet on Saturday afternoon having started their respective League One campaigns in contrasting ways.

While Peterborough suffered a narrow defeat at Cardiff City, Luton kicked off their season with a hard-fought success over AFC Wimbledon.

After back-to-back relegations, the pressure is on Luton and head coach Matt Bloomfield as the club attempts to rebuild in the third tier.

The opening-day fixture against newly-promoted AFC Wimbledon are hardly a thriller, but Ryan Johnson's late own goal gave the Hatters a much-needed victory.

Despite the loss at Cardiff, Ferguson may be prepared to stick with the same Peterborough XI should he have no injuries to contend with.

There are high hopes for Kyrell Lisbie after his rise through the non-league pyramid, but the attacker may have to remain patient for his first Posh start.

More changes could be made to a winning Luton side after Bloomfield made four substitutions before their fortuitous winning goal versus AFC Wimbledon.

Shandon Baptiste and Cauley Woodrow are both pushing for starts in midfield and the final third, but Lamine Fanne may remain among the replacements at a time when there is interest in his signature.
