PEC Zwolle move up to fourth with Utrecht win

PEC Zwolle moved up to fourth in the Eredivisie with a 2-0 win away to FC Utrecht this afternoon.

Thomas Lam opened the scoring for the visitors five minutes before the break with a smart finish.

Stef Nijland extended their advantage 10 minutes from time, and the three points take Zwolle above FC Twente in the division.

Elsewhere in the Netherlands, Ajax's title hopes were dealt a blow as they slipped to a 1-0 reverse away to Vitesse.
