Brazil's Kaka ruled out of Copa America

Brazil midfielder Kaka has been ruled out of the Centenary Copa America with a muscle injury.

The former World Player of the Year and Ballon D'Or winner, who plays for Orlando City in Major League Soccer, was a late replacement for Douglas Costa.

Kaka, 34, is the fifth player to withdraw from the Selecao and is expected to be out for about three weeks. Sao Paulo's Paulo Henrique Ganso will take his place.

Brazil's Copa America campaign begins on Saturday against Ecuador, before they face Haiti on June 9 and then Peru on June 13.
