Report: Blackpool near Neal Bishop capture

Blackpool boss Paul Ince is reportedly close to signing former Notts County captain Neal Bishop on a short-term contract.

The 31-year-old, who left County last week, has been linked with a number of Championship clubs in recent weeks.

However, according to Sky Sports News, Blackpool have moved quickly to sign the midfielder as Ince readies his squad for the new campaign.

Bishop is believed to have linked up with the Seasiders for their trip to Portugal.
