Report: Forest to go for Rhodes

Nottingham Forest will reportedly make a bold move to sign Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes in January.

Reports have emerged recently that Billy Davies will be given the funds to spend big on a striker and, according to SportsDirect News, they will go after Rhodes of fellow Championship side Blackburn.

Rovers will be expecting interest in Rhodes, who is joint-second in the Championship scoring charts this season with 12 in 20 games.

If Forest are to prise him away from Ewood Park, they will have to part with a sum of at least £8m - the amount Blackburn paid for Rhodes last year.

West Bromwich Albion striker Shane Long has also been linked with a move to Forest.
