Nottingham Forest yet to approach Billy Sharp?

Nottingham Forest are yet to approach Southampton striker Billy Sharp over a return to the City Ground, according to reports.

Southampton striker Billy Sharp has not received a bid from any club regarding his signature, according to reports.

Sharp has returned to St Mary's Stadium after spending last season on loan at Nottingham Forest, where he scored 11 goals in 31 matches.

The 27-year-old had been hoping to discuss his future with coach Mauricio Pochettino, but talks are yet to materialise, leaving the former Sheffield United forward uncertain over where he will play his football next season.

Sharp would like to try to earn himself a place at the Premier League club, but according to the Nottingham Post, he has not ruled out returning to Forest.

However, he is yet to receive any official interest from the Championship side or any other team.
