Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says that he is "not interested" in replacing Steve Cotterill at the Nottingham Forest manager.

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has reportedly claimed that he is not considering becoming the new boss of Nottingham Forest.

The Championship outfit are in the hunt for a new manager after the club, who were recently bought by the Al-Hasawi family, decided to dismiss boss Steve Cotterill today.

While Redknapp was the instant favourite for the position, reports have claimed that the 65-year-old is "not interested in the Nottingham Forest job, but it's an amazing club with great tradition".

The likes of ex-Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish, former Wolverhampton Wanderers coach Mick McCarthy and Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson have been linked with the vacancy.
