Nottingham Forest owner Fawaz Al Hasawi has insisted that he plans to keep manager Billy Davies at the club for a lengthy period of time.
The Kuwaiti owners have come under criticism this season following their decision to sack three managers in seven months.
Davies, who had a stint at the City Ground between 2008 and 2011, was reappointed in February by Al Hasawi, who has claimed that he wants Davies to match Sir Alex Ferguson's 27-year stay at Manchester United.
"Billy will be with us like Ferguson is with Manchester United," Al Hasawi told BBC Midlands Late Kick Off. "I mean that. I would like him to stay with us.
"If I am a dictator I would not bring Billy Davies into my club because he doesn't like people to interfere in his job, he is a strong manager. He is doing his job and I am doing my job. We are doing the right things together."
Davies has led Forest into a playoff place in the Championship table since taking over last month.
